Sticky brussels sprouts with crispy garlic tofu 💚

1 block garlic tofu (200g)
Brussels sprouts
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp sweetener
1/3 cup water
2 garlic cloves (minced)
3cm ginger root (minced)
Corn flour
Olive oil
Salt and pepper

Wash Brussels sprouts and cut them in halves. Boil generously salted water and throw them in there. Boil Brussels sprouts for 1 minute, drain them and allow to cool off a bit. Then coat them in corn flour and sauté on olive oil until they get golden and crispy. Meanwhile prepare your sauce. Mix soy sauce, sweetener, water, garlic and ginger together, then add the sauce to your Brussels sprouts. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens and covers the veggies entirely.
Cut tofu into thin triangles and fry the pieces on each side on olive oil. Keep your pan on low heat to make sure your tofu gets crispy and doesn’t burn.

I served my Brussels sprouts and tofu with baked sweet potato fries and Polish dill pickles ☺️

Enjoy 💚
