Yeast-free vegan pizza 🍕

Another take on my vegan pizza with some slightly adjusted proportions. Super easy, quick to make and very very tasty. Definitely worth a try ☺️

🍕 dough ingredients:
250g spelt flour
150ml warm water
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
2/3 tsp baking soda
1 flat tsp salt

Sift flour, add nutritional yeast, salt, baking soda and olive oil. Gradually add warm water. Keep checking the texture because you might need to add more flour if it’s too sticky, or more water if it’s too dry. Knead the dough until everything is combined well, then roll it thinly (into semi circle) on a baking sheet. Then prepare your tomato sauce.

🍅 sauce ingredients:
3 tsp tomato paste
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup water
lots of dried oregano and basil
salt & pepper

Combine all ingredients, then spread your sauce evenly on the pizza base. Sprinkle it with some vegan cheese and other favorite toppings. Bake for 20 minutes in 200°C/390°F.

🍕 the toppings I used were:
vegan cheese (violife_foods Cranberry After Dinner)
sliced mushrooms
sliced zucchini
vegan “kebab meat” (from bobowina_niemieso_z_bobem – absolutely epic)
blanched broccoli
sun-dried tomatoes
cherry tomatoes

Let me tell you that the flavor combo was just another level 🤯 But of course you can adjust the toppings to your liking. I do recommend giving my pizza base a try tho. It’s really delicious and it’s a great alternative for those who are craving pizza, but don’t want to use yeast ☺️

Enjoy 💚
